Is the app actually free?
Yes. The app is free for every comp dance family, always. Competition calendar, costume tracking, pack lists, score logging, studio community — all included, no charge. Pro is an optional upgrade for families who want deeper analytics.
Do I have to pay to join the waitlist?
No. The waitlist is your email address. That's it. No card, no commitment, no upsell. When we launch, you'll be among the first families in.
When does Recitl launch?
In time for the 2027 competition season. Early access for waitlist families starts before public launch — we'll be in touch as we get closer.
What's the founding Pro rate, exactly?
The first 250 families on the waitlist may qualify for $79/year for Pro, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. Standard Pro will be $99/year at launch. Pro adds multi-dancer access (for families with more than one kid competing), deeper analytics, judge intelligence, and the season archive. You don't pay anything now — if you're in the founding 250, we'll let you know at launch and you can choose to opt in.
My studio doesn't use Recitl. Can I still use it?
Yes. Recitl works for any family — with or without their studio on the platform. You'll get the full competition calendar, costume tracker, score intelligence, and pack lists either way. The Studio Community feature lights up if your studio joins, but it's not a requirement.
